Crayola good enough for ShrinkyDink charms?

Shrinkydink recommends high quality colored pencils, like Prismacolor. Unfortunately I do not have Prismacolor, nor can I afford it anytime soon, BUT. I do have lots of Crayola colored pencils. Can I use Crayola's pencils with ShrinkyDink? Are they "good enough" quality?

If i dye my hair red over orange will it come out red?

I had a bad expierence with bleach a while ago and tried to fix it with a neutral brown color, well my hair ended up coming out an ickie blonde. I put up with it for a while then I just got tired of it. I went to sallys and got "red fire" a color I used reguarly in the past when I had darker hair and loved the results, the people at sally's told me to get a 10 volume developer and a protien filler and warned that it might come out "bright red", well that was fine with me since that was what i was trying to achieve, well next thing you know my hair is so bright its orange! I mean like crayola orange! I hate it! I ended up buying 2 of the "red fire" hair color bottles, so im wondering if I use the second one will my hair finally become red or a more horrible shade of orange? Please help!

Why valium over soma?

On Thursday June 23rd I had a cervical spine fusion surgery. Before my surgery I was taking 1 soma 350 on most nights to help with muscle spasms. On my release instructions from the hospital they said not to take the Soma any more. The nurse told me it was "not good to take". Being not very "with it" at the time I just said ok. The nurse told me to call on Monday for something else if I was still having the spasms. So today I called and they prescribed 5 mg valium. Isn't Valium more dangerous than Soma? Why would they make the change? I have also been taking percocet for the pain. Does it have something to do with that?

Why is my tongue swollen?

Hi, my name is nishant, 3 week back i started taking Modafinil (modalreat 200 mg). After taking few doses of that in every 6 hrs i noticed my tongue had teeth marks on sides. There was a little chest pain too but no sign of rashes. I went to hospital emergency and Dr. gave me two injections for allergy and few tables. Are Prang brand colored pencils high quality in comparison to crayola, rose art, and prismacolor?

I don't have much experience with prang materials, but as far as I know prismacolor is much better. Yes; they are expensive, but they are well worth the money. the colors are beautiful and they come out nice. But if you can't afford them, I would suggest going out and buying crayola.

Accidentally double dosed my Pain and anxiety medicine!! Advice needed!?

i take 3 Lortab 10/325 a day and three 2 mg klonopin a day. I usually take my first 2 lortab together in the morning because thats when i hurt the most, and the pharmacist said its OK if it take my 1st dose of klonopin with it, that it just may make me sleepy. Well, I slept in today and as usual i fumbled around to go ahead and take my morning dose of both meds when i woke up, but i fell back asleep. When i woke up, i had forgotten that i had already taken 2 lortab and my klonopin, and went ahead and took it, it didnt hit me until 10 mins later than i had double dosed. So in a 4 hour time frame i took 4 lortab 10/325, and two 2 mg klonopin. Will I overdose or will i just be really loopy? lol. kind of freaked out, thanks in advance!!

Birth control pills causing severe depression?

I am 15 years old and I have a family history of bipolar depression on both sides of the family. Recently it had been well controlled (no anxiety attacks, no harsh mood swings, no suicidal thoughts or actions, etc.). I have always had a very heavy, painful period. My cramps immobilize me and I get severe migraines the day before my period. My gynecologist recommended that I start a birth control regimen to regulate and lighten my period, so she prescribed me BeYaz and Naproxen 500 mg (I don't take the latter because it causes excessive joint pain). Ever since about a week after I started the pill I had been very irritable and moody, and recently it has progressed to the point where I cry all the time and sleep all day. The only thing I can compare it to is depression. I was wondering if it is all due to the certain pill or if it is entirely because of my preexisting condition. I want to fix it, but I cannot come off of the pill as I do not want to have to experience a painful period again and I have recently become sexually active (I don't want to hear it, it was a choice all on my own and I am in a very stable, happy relationship). Would asking about antidepressants interfere with the birth control pills or any pain medication in the Naproxen family? What kind of antidepressant works the best on minors? I got off that it is horrible when you crash, illegal meth when it is good you don't crash like that! I use the herb guarana, from twin labs, it comes in 1200 mg pills, I break one in half chew it up and wash it down with some water, when the alarm rings, then go back to sleep, within 20 minutes I wake up and am ready for my day. You can take the amino acid L-tyrosine with it and sometimes that helps deliver it to you brain to use it better. Once you have taken adderall long enough you will never, in my experience be able to function without it, or it will take years. I would not suggest you take it. I would use the guarana. I also had bipolar and started taking 5htp for that and melatonin at nite to sleep, and amazingly enough it helped my ADHD also. Another thing that really helped it is the book The Power of Now, by Edkhart Tolle, available also on CD, it helps you to learn to focus. Good luck!

Help fast. After calling the emergency vet, i gave my 8-10 pound yorkie 1 mL of h202 to make him vomit?

We gave our 1 yr old yorkie 1 mL (by syringe) of hydrogen peroxide because he got into my vyvanse(adhd) medicine and 1 pill was busted and 1 was missing after counting. The busted pill was everywhere so it was obvious he didn't get much of that but we thought he swollowed another. His heart was beating fast so we assumed he did and gave him the h202. Then I found the other pill so we know at most he got 25% of one 30 mg pill. Now he's acting cracked out and extremely scared. Sitting up (away from us) with his eyes closed. He threw up 1 big time and once small after about 3 mins. His heart is beating hard but not that fast anymore and he won't let me near him. He put up a huge fight while I tried to induce him (gritting his teeth as hard as he could). So hopefully he just blames me for his stomach ache and puking and is ok but I'm way more than worried. also I carried him outside with our other dog who wanted to play. After snapping at the chiweenie, the yorkie sat by the screen door and bolted inside to be by himself.(he normally thinks being outside is like six flags =(. ) sorry for the length but I would really appreciate quick response

Clay Creations;Tips;Crayola Model Magic?

I want to start making my own jewelery out of clay because other jewelery is too expensive. I don't want to use polymer clay because it's expensive and I'm scared I'll ruin my oven. (You see, I only have one oven that works, and its a TOASTER oven. Too small, and I also used the oven to cook food.) I was thinking about using Crayola Model Magic, but it's too soft and more prone to breaking. I was thinking about putting a shiny glaze on it...but IDK, I don't want my parents spending too much for me. And like I said, I want to make jewelery with them, but will the Model Magic work? Aww that's cute - I get different cards for both sides of the family but that's only because their personalities are TOTALLY different. One side is humorous and the other is pretty conservative. If both sides of the families are "middle of the road" then I think it's fine to buy the same card for both. Just personalize it by writing something inside, after all a card is just a card... plenty of people put so much emphasis on the card itself but in a true artists/poetic sense, all greeting cards are kind of hokey-sappy stuff. It's what you add to it that makes it special.

Okay, well sorry if there's typos, I'm typing this really fast because I feel horrible right now. If a person accidentally took 2 ampicillin antibiotics within 1 hour, is it a cause of concern?

Is it considered an overdose? I accidentally took an ampicillin 500 mg capsule after taking one an hour earlier (I meant to take different kind of pill from a different prescription and got mixed up). Did I manage to get the core of the boil?

Well, I managed to let the boil come to a head, then it popped due to soap, then I kinda squeezed it (I now know I shouldn't do that) and it started to drain. Well after that two green, yes like the light green of a Crayola crayon, squishy things popped out and after that there was a smaller blob which appeared to be a mixture of blood and something else...I'm not quite sure what. It depends on the skin tone you are going for. I normally just fiddle around on some scrap paper first. Try mixing pinks and peaches, use light browns to make it darker and yellows can help lighten it, but you have to be careful with yellow. Orange can benefit you too. Spend some time just trying different ways to layer it, eventually you will know what the colors do together and will be able to know what colors will work well with pink and what ones wont.

Up until 15 months old a baby does not place who they are calling mama or dada. A baby raised with no father in the picture may still say dada, just because it is one of the first sounds. It is between 12 and 15 months when they actually start referring to their parents as mama and dada. You could try just referring to yourself as "DeeDee" as that will be easier for her to say.

I had strep throat a week ago...?

And I finally went to the doctor. The doctor prescribed me with Azithromycin Tablets. (250 mg, 6 tablets) Anyways, I was to take 2 the first day and 1 everyday after that. The first day I took 2, I was fine. Nothing happened, the next day (yesterday) I took one in the morning and I was fine up until about 8 pm yesterday. I finally started getting a puffy eyelid on one eye, and eventually it happened to the other eye. Is this an allergic reaction to the drug? I'm allergic to penicilin but I made sure that they knew that, and they did. I don't know that it would take a full day (almost 2) for symptoms of allergic reaction to this medicine to come in. I'm not in pain or anything, just a tiny itch in my eyes and swollen.

I also had bipolar and started taking 5htp for that and melatonin at nite to sleep, and amazingly enough it helped my ADHD also. My guess is that the hamster is a bit confused and still getting used to her new cage. This happens to hamsters when introduced to new environment since they are creatures of habit. Birth control pills causing severe depression?

I am 15 years old and I have a family history of bipolar depression on both sides of the family. Recently it had been well controlled (no anxiety attacks, no harsh mood swings, no suicidal thoughts or actions, etc.). I have always had a very heavy, painful period. My cramps immobilize me and I get severe migraines the day before my period. My gynecologist recommended that I start a birth control regimen to regulate and lighten my period, so she prescribed me BeYaz and Naproxen 500 mg (I don't take the latter because it causes excessive joint pain). Ever since about a week after I started the pill I had been very irritable and moody, and recently it has progressed to the point where I cry all the time and sleep all day. The only thing I can compare it to is depression. I was wondering if it is all due to the certain pill or if it is entirely because of my preexisting condition. I want to fix it, but I cannot come off of the pill as I do not want to have to experience a painful period again and I have recently become sexually active (I don't want to hear it, it was a choice all on my own and I am in a very stable, happy relationship). Would asking about antidepressants interfere with the birth control pills or any pain medication in the Naproxen family? What kind of antidepressant works the best on minors? Am I addicted to vicodin?

Well I'm 15 and my mom has had about 6 knee replacements on both of her knees. She also recently shattered her arm next to her elbow. She has been taking vicodin for pain ever since I can remember (she pretty much pops pills like Doctor House...), but she does it for pain, she's not addicted, although my dad is (she divorced him a long time ago). Addiction kind of runs in the family. Well, I've been taking 2 or 3 vicodin daily (I don't know the mg) for 4 days straight because it provides relief (emotionally), and I think much much clearer when I take it. So I wonder if I'm addicted, and if I am, what can I do? Can I just try to quit cold turkey without getting my parents or a psych involved?

I have recently decided to foster them after the mother was hit by a car. they did belong to an elderly lady who lets her cats come and go( my cat NEVER goes out! ) I have been helping since their birth...3 of the litter of 5 died...we are not sure why...these two have been strong and basically healthy the whole time except for a little eye discharge last week for which we used 0.1 mg of amox suspension per day for a few days until they cleared up along with a few applications of neosporin(the male was worse but both are fine now). i was not able to be there every day so i am not 100% on the details. i have been trying to help as much as possible. I have been letting them drink as much as they want but i am not sure if it is enough...they go through about 10ml between the both of them per feeding...sometimes more...i have some chicken and turkey baby food and kitten fancy feast to help with weaning but they don't seem too interested in it yet. any advice would be helpful :)

Am I addicted to vicodin?

Well I'm 15 and my mom has had about 3 knee replacements on both of her knees. She also recently shattered her arm next to her elbow. She has been taking vicodin for pain ever since I can remember (she pretty much pops pills like Doctor House...), but she does it for pain, she's not addicted, I know that for a fact, although my dad is (she divorced him a long time ago). Addiction kind of runs in the family. Well, I've been taking 2 or 3 vicodin daily (I don't know the mg) for 4 days straight because it provides relief (emotionally), and I think far clearer when I take it. So I wonder if I'm addicted, and if I am, what can I do? Can I just try to quit cold turkey without getting my parents or a psych involved?

Birth control pills causing severe depression?

I am 15 years old and I have a family history of bipolar depression on both sides of the family. Recently it had been well controlled (no anxiety attacks, no harsh mood swings, no suicidal thoughts or actions, etc.). I have always had a very heavy, painful period. My cramps immobilize me and I get severe migraines the day before my period. My gynecologist recommended that I start a birth control regimen to regulate and lighten my period, so she prescribed me BeYaz and Naproxen 500 mg (I don't take the latter because it causes excessive joint pain). Ever since about a week after I started the pill I had been very irritable and moody, and recently it has progressed to the point where I cry all the time and sleep all day. The only thing I can compare it to is depression. I was wondering if it is all due to the certain pill or if it is entirely because of my preexisting condition. I want to fix it, but I cannot come off of the pill as I do not want to have to experience a painful period again and I have recently become sexually active (I don't want to hear it, it was a choice all on my own and I am in a very stable, happy relationship). Would asking about antidepressants interfere with the birth control pills or any pain medication in the Naproxen family? What kind of antidepressant works the best on minors? Should I try a different brand of birth control pill? Reminder, I CANNOT come off the pill. Thanks!

I have an Unico HVAC system w/ Bryant AC units that use Puron 410A. There was a leak and the contractor recharged the system. Now I have a smell like Crayola crayons coming from the system. I have been on atenalol for many years. I was taking 200mg for a short time for my blood pressure then 100 mg and now have been on 50mg for about a year. I personally think your too young for antidepressants, but they usually take 1-2 months to take effect. Your depression goes away when you want it too. i see some ppl take up to 600mg of progesterone a day, my dr prescribed me synthetic progesterone suppositories 20mg 2x a day, and i was told that is not as safe as the natural cream but that being absorbed in your vagina is stronger than the cream being absorbed on your skin, the cream i have is 20mg a pump and i was wondering if i do a dbl pump will that be 40 mg being absorbed? i plan on doing this 2 x a day, so together if in my head i am correct ill be getting closer to 80 mg a day, which is lower than the original dose of 200mg prometrium i got first, but my insurance wouldnt cover it, so if i do 2 pumps 2 times per day, would it be better to use 4 different application spots or 2, is there a way to have it better absorbered or am i just wasting cream, sorry if confused, and thank you for answers

Okay, try not to worry too much. When my fancy mouse got pregnant it was very noticeable. She gave birth to 11 babies, all on her own. She did all of the work and was fine. I am not sure if there is much you could do for her if she had problems. She is likely making a nest and wants the male to stay out. Getting some hamster bed fluff is a good idea so she can further insulate the nest. My mouse often breathed heavily a few days before the birth. Your mouse is likely close now. Good call removing the male by the way, separate him from the babies until their eyes and ears are open and then try (extremely cautiously) to introduce him with just one of them; the biggest baby is the best idea. I don’t think you can do much of anything for the birth except make sure she, hate to say it, lives (mine did and she was a runt so don't worry). Watch carefully to make sure the mom takes good care of them and gets them all out, personally my mouse was horrible. Once they are older make sure they are weaned (it is a good idea to separate them from the mom for awhile once they are old enough) because sometimes they will continue to feed and the mother will not fare well. Try not to touch the babies unless she is well socialized and allows you to without a thought but be careful with them when they are pinkies! Also, move her food dish and water as close to her nest because you don’t want her to have to go too far. Take out the wheel too because my mouse use to go on the wheel with the pinkies until I removed (not a good mother as I said). Hope this helps, good luck! You purchased a clay intended for children. Air dry clay that can be fired in a kiln would cost a great deal more than the Crayola stuff. Kilns are not cheap either, and your electric bill would certainly show a big difference. Stick with a good quality polymer. It will be cheaper in the end.

Can the Copic Colorless Blender be used with any marker?

I only have 3 skin tone colors, colorless blender, and the 100 black Copic markers. I was testing them out and now I'm coloring the rest in Crayola marker (I know, I know. Water based ink. Blegh.) Propranolol vs atenalol? which is safer?

I have been on atenalol for many years. I was taking 200mg for a short time for my blood pressure then 100 mg and now have been on 50mg for about a year. I have been diagnosed with panic disorder, general anxiety disorder and moyfascial migraines. My doctors have tried so many meds but have had horrible side effects from them (especially effexor and nortrityline). They are now switching me from atenalol 50mg to propranolol... is this medicine just as safe as atenalol and should it work better?

Name for our little miracle baby girl?

My husband and I just began looking for the perfect name for our little girl. We had thrown around names we liked in the beginning of the pregnancy. A few months ago we went to a class in preparation for our wedding and a couple there had a baby named Westervelt, a little boy, who was named after the mother, her maiden name. So my husband decided he would call the baby Day because that's my maiden name. We actually call her Day all the time now, or even like little D or Deedee. LOL. I think it's actually cute now. But so, we are really having trouble finding any names we both really love. We both like Eryn, but it's not like really striking us. We were actually thinking of using Day as her middle name. So her name would be ______ Day Jolie. My husband wants us to name her Angelina as well, lol. I don't think so!! Our naming taste is similar and we both agree on names fairly easy. Our late sons are Killian Alexandru & Israel Jensen. We thought about naming our little girl after them, but we don't want to burden her to have her own personality and not have to carry their names. I mean it's a nice way to remember them, but we won't ever forget them, we don't need to name their little sister after them. Our taste kind of changed when we got pregnant with her and although we still love the names we gave our sons, we are into more feminine names for girls than before. So ultimately, we want a soft, feminine name that goes with "Day Jolie" at the end. Wall paint would be better than crayola paint for sure because you don't want the paint to become to hot and malt causing the rockets to ignite into flames. Although wall paint might be a little heavy i think its your best bet if you don't want to go buy $30 in paint!

Hey girl, Ellen has Crayola "beginnings" markers and crayons. Idk if they are any extra washable, but they wash out and off pretty easily. The markers don't even have caps, its weird, but they don't dry out. So you wouldn't have to worry about losing caps. She also has the "write start" colored pencils that she likes.

Are you withdrawing from it for a different one if it's not working? They take a few weeks to kick in fully as well and we all react differently so this may not be the right one for you. Don't give in just keep going with others until you find what is good for you. Have you tried Abilify/aripiprazole? It's not at all bad for side effects provided it works for you. Are you saying the med has made you ill and you only started with the voices on them?
