Can you use a Prismacolor Blender Pencil with Crayola Colored Pencils?

I recently ordered a Prismacolor Blender Pencil because I watched a tutorial on using it. It looked awesome. I have Crayola colored pencils and I am not sure if it will even work. Anyone know?
