Clay Creations;Tips;Crayola Model Magic?
I want to start making my own jewelery out of clay because other jewelery is too expensive. I don't want to use polymer clay because it's expensive and I'm scared I'll ruin my oven. (You see, I only have one oven that works, and its a TOASTER oven. Too small, and I also used the oven to cook food.) I was thinking about using Crayola Model Magic, but it's too soft and more prone to breaking. I was thinking about putting a shiny glaze on it...but IDK, I don't want my parents spending too much for me. And like I said, I want to make jewelery with them, but will the Model Magic work? And is there any BETTER air-dry clay out there? And it needs to be a fair price. And with the plain Crayola Air-Dry Clay... can you add paint to it WHILE it's still wet/pliable.? And can you please tell me a good glaze that will work good with the clay (and possibly it will mak it less prone to breakage?) I shop at JoAnns....so please help :)
