Is this chase scene good for my horror story???(slasher/gore)?

Honestly it sounds very cliche for a horror movie. I do like the head in the deep fryer and and the meat hook thing. It will definitely be a very gory scene, but it is like 90% percent of the horror movies I have ever seen.
