Teaching four year old to spell?

her birthday doesn't make our school districts cut offs. so since she will be the oldest in her class when she goes into kindergarten i want to get her started by at least learning how to spell her name. she knows her abc's but can't associate the letters to them being written out. can anyone think of something for G? for example her name is bridget so for B i drew a bee. for R i drew a pirate because pirates say ARRR. for I i drew an eye. for D i drew DeeDee doodle from the doodlebops. for E i drew a person and i spider because in shows when someone sees a spider they scream EEE. and for T i drew a cup of tea. help please?
