Paint brushes as makeup brushes?

im kinda low on $ and my mom disproves of me wearing makeup so she makes me buy myself the stuff i need and wont give a ride there (btw its like snowing like crazy here in NJ!). so i have these paint brushes that are super soft and such. can i use that? i already used it in paint (crayola washable i think) and the paint comes off easily. thanks!
