Would anyone buy/drive a Chinese MG car?

Actually, it was the Labour Party in the 60s and 70s that screwed British industry by the proliferation and propagation of unions. It almost completely destroyed the economy and while Thatcher slowed the rot, the Labour Party again sounded the death knell. Just look at the quality of MG during the Labour years. It sucked.
